LE BIG e-com B.V. (hereinafter: “LE BIG”) only processes personal details you left with LE BIG as a customer. LE BIG only processes data that is necessary for carrying out the agreement with the customer and/or for the further provisions of services. LE BIG treats the personal details you have made available to LE BIG with care. LE BIG will never make these personal details available to third parties for commercial objectives.

What we do with your personal details
Your personal details are necessary for the realisation of the purchase agreement if you place an order with LE BIG. In addition, personal details are compiled for marketing and advertising purposes if you have given explicit permission for this when placing an order or if you have subscribed to our newsletter. It is also possible that your data is filed temporarily if you contacted our customer service.
Placing an order and delivery
For carrying out an order, LE BIG requires your name, e-mail address, (delivery) address, payment details and sometimes your phone number. When placing an order you are obliged to enter the data marked with an “*”. Your payment details when paying via the Buckaroo internet cash register are not filed by LE BIG. With the data we can keep you up-to-date on your order, if necessary. Furthermore, your name and address will be provided to DPD, the parcel service, so they can deliver your order to your home. DPD will only use this data for carrying out the order.
When placing an order, you can create an account, so your details have already been completed for a future order. In your account we file your name, e-mail address, (delivery) address and phone number. LE BIG also files data of your pervious orders.
If you contact LE BIG’s customer service it is possible that a member of staff notes down your details and makes notes of the conversation. This data is solely used for treating your request and/or complaint. This data is not filed for longer than is necessary.
It’s possible to subscribe to the LE BIG newsletter. You can subscribe to this via the field on the website or by granting permission to others to send the newsletter when placing an order. The newsletter is solely sent by e-mail to the e-mail address you entered. You can unsubscribe from the LE BIG newsletter any time you like.
Invoicing and administration
Personal details such as your name and address and details concerning your order become processes for managing the sales invoices of LE BIG. Possible third parties LE BIG involves for its administration are bound to confidentiality and will treat your details as confidential. Your personal details will not be used by LE BIG and possible third parties for purposes other than those described above.
How long does LE BIG store your data?
LE BIG stores your data for as long as this is necessary. If you have created an account at LE BIG, your data will be stored until you state that you no longer want to be included in our customer file and your account must be removed. Such request is marked as a request to be forgotten.
If you subscribed to the newsletter, your e-mail address will only be stored for the time you subscribed. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter any time you like. LE BIG will then also remove your e-mail address.
With regard to administrative duties, LE BIG is bound by periods for storing your personal details. Here too, these are not stored for longer than is necessary.
What are your rights?
If your personal details are processed by LE BIG you have certain rights. For instance, you can always request LE BIG to submit the personal details LE BIG has of you for inspection. Furthermore, you can request LE BIG to adapt your personal details if these are incorrect/incomplete. You also have the right to submit a request for limiting the processing of your personal details. When applicable, you can also object to the processing of your personal details. Finally, you have the right to be forgotten. This means that you can request LE BIG to remove your personal details and no longer process them.

LE BIG will treat your request and will respond within 30 days after receipt of your request. If your request is granted, you will receive confirmation of this.
